These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Owings Mills Auto Tint, operated by Holy Mountain, Inc.
By booking an appointment, authorizing work, or using our services, you agree to the following terms.
Pricing
We believe in transparent pricing.
Published prices are provided upfront whenever possible, with no hidden fees or surprise charges at checkout.
Prices may vary when a service clearly depends on vehicle size, number of windows, existing film condition, oversized glass, specialty glass, or additional labor.
If additional work or cost becomes necessary after inspection, it will be discussed with and approved by the customer before the additional work is performed.
Appointments
Appointments are reserved specifically for your vehicle.
Please arrive at the scheduled time or notify us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.
Late arrivals may require the appointment to be shortened or rescheduled depending on the day's schedule.
Completion times are estimates and may vary depending on the vehicle, film type, existing tint, weather, glass condition, or installation complexity.
Deposits and Cancellations
A deposit may be required to reserve certain appointments.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, deposits are applied toward the final service balance.
Cancellation, rescheduling, or no-show policies communicated during booking will apply to that appointment.
Window Tint Selection
Customers are responsible for approving the selected film type and VLT before installation.
The appearance of tint may vary depending on:
- Factory glass
- Existing privacy glass
- Interior color
- Lighting conditions
- Viewing angle
- Film installed on other windows
When film is installed over factory-tinted glass, the final visible light transmission may be darker than the film's labeled VLT.
Tint Laws
Window tint laws vary by state, vehicle type, window location, and application.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their requested tint configuration complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Owings Mills Auto Tint may provide general information about tint regulations, but such information is not legal advice and does not guarantee that a requested installation is legal for a particular vehicle or situation.
We reserve the right to decline an installation that we believe may create an unreasonable safety or legal concern.
Existing Vehicle and Glass Condition
Before installation, customers should inform us of any known damage, defects, prior repairs, aftermarket components, or glass replacement.
Owings Mills Auto Tint is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to:
- Scratched or damaged glass
- Cracks or chips
- Loose trim
- Damaged seals or weatherstripping
- Defective windows or regulators
- Existing adhesive residue
- Damaged rear defroster lines
- Aftermarket glass defects
- Prior tint installation damage
Tint Removal
Removal of existing window film may involve additional risk, particularly when the film is old, deteriorated, layered, heavily adhered, or installed over rear defroster lines.
Standard film and adhesive removal is performed with reasonable care.
However, existing film may already be bonded to weakened defroster lines, damaged glass coatings, or prior repairs.
Owings Mills Auto Tint is not responsible for pre-existing or unavoidable damage discovered during reasonable removal procedures.
If unusually difficult removal conditions require additional labor, any additional cost will be discussed and approved before work continues.
Rear Defroster Lines
Rear-window defroster lines are delicate and may already be weakened by age, previous tint removal, prior installation, cleaning, or other damage.
We take reasonable precautions when working around defroster lines, but cannot guarantee the condition or continued operation of previously damaged or weakened defroster systems.
Installation Expectations
Window tint is installed by hand.
Minor imperfections may be visible during the curing period or under very close inspection.
Industry-normal conditions may include small amounts of moisture, temporary haze, or minor isolated contamination that does not materially affect the overall appearance or performance of the installation.
Excessive contamination, lifting, peeling, bubbling, or other installation defects attributable to our workmanship will be evaluated and addressed as appropriate.
Curing Period
Newly installed film requires time to cure.
During curing, customers may notice:
- Haze
- Moisture pockets
- Small water bubbles
- Temporary visual distortion
These conditions normally improve as the film dries.
Curing time varies based on film type, temperature, humidity, and weather conditions.
Customers should avoid rolling down newly tinted side windows or cleaning newly installed film during the recommended curing period.
Aftercare
Customers should follow the aftercare instructions provided at the time of service.
Avoid abrasive cleaners, ammonia-based products, sharp objects, scraping tools, or aggressive cleaning methods on tinted glass.
Damage caused by improper cleaning, scratching, pets, cargo, seat belts, aftermarket accessories, or customer use is not considered an installation defect.
Inspection and Concerns
Customers are encouraged to inspect the installation after the curing period.
If you believe there is a workmanship issue, contact us promptly so we can inspect the vehicle.
We ask that customers allow us a reasonable opportunity to evaluate and correct a legitimate installation issue before seeking outside repair or replacement.
Reinstallation and Warranty Work
Any reinstallation, adjustment, or warranty work will be determined after inspection.
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by:
- Accidents
- Glass replacement
- Customer damage
- Scratching
- Improper cleaning
- Existing vehicle defects
- Aftermarket parts
- Damage caused by third parties
Film manufacturer warranties, when applicable, are subject to the manufacturer's terms and eligibility requirements.
Customer Property
Customers should remove valuables and fragile personal items before leaving a vehicle for service.
Owings Mills Auto Tint is not responsible for unsecured personal property left inside the vehicle unless loss or damage results directly from our negligence.
Vehicle Photos
With customer permission, we may photograph completed work for documentation, portfolio, website, advertising, or social media purposes.
License plates may be obscured when appropriate.
Customers may request that their vehicle not be used for marketing purposes.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Owings Mills Auto Tint's liability for a claim relating to a service will not exceed the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or obligations that cannot legally be waived.
Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep pricing, product information, specifications, and other website content accurate.

Manufacturer specifications, film availability, and product offerings may change.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically.
The version posted on our website at the time of service will apply unless otherwise agreed in writing.
